I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 56 years and have been administering insulin via a pump for more than 10 years. This is the fourth different type of system I have used during this time.

My experience with the Medtrum system has been very positive so far. My time in range as calculated by my FGM has improved noticeably, the cannula insertion process has been pain-free, the patch adhesive is excellent over the three day use, changing the insulin patch is quick and very straightforward, all the pump settings and insulin usage data is automatically uploaded to my online account and constantly updated so no need for storing settings on paper. Additionally this is the first system I have used that offers a smartphone app to operate the pump, so one less item to have to remember to take out when away from home and a backup pump controller just in case of smartphone loss or malfunction.

Lastly the technical support I have received has been efficient and rapid.
