I've been living with type 1 diabetes since 2014, but it wasn't until September 2023 that I switched to a pump — the Medtrum TouchCare Nano. I can adjust my settings to better match my body and my day. That gives me a real sense of control and ownership over my diabetes. The customer service has also made a real difference. In the beginning, with a few pump errors and lots of questions, I knew I could reach out for help. That meant a lot, since diabetes already asks you to figure out so much on your own.

I often get questions about the pump — people are always surprised by how small it is. I think it would be fantastic for kids too.
